Camping is available at Kare Camp Campground. And that's not all you can do here at Pacific Crest Reservoir. Gotta ski! Mountain High is a perfect spot to do that; hiking along the Dawson Peak Trail is brilliant fun. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the San Gabriel Mountains. A pleasant nearby hotel is Best Western Cajon Pass, and Inspiration Point is pretty and can be made out from here. This       lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hyatt Place Ontario Mills is a great location to spend a night or two, and locations like Appletree Flat are nice to stop at. Lakes? Sure, Jackson Lake is close by, and why not camp at Cabin Flat Campground while you're here at Pacific Crest Reservoir. Pacific Crest Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the San Gabriel Mountains. So many fun things to do in the San Gabriel Mountains, not enough time. A glorious                  place to take a look at right next door to Pacific Crest Reservoir is Bear Gulch; going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 7 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Ski Sunrise, and you'll in all probability meet some people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana here. Pacific Crest Reservoir gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; February is when you get the most rain here; July on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Pacific Crest Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 90's; the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Pacific Crest Reservoir fall into the 40's.
