Oyster Lake is a wet location that gets a lot of rainfall; through the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is typically the driest month. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Gotta ski! Kirkwood is a nice place to do that, and camping is available at Ferguson Point Campground. Near Oyster Lake you discover the Windmiller Trail which is a fine hiking trail; a splendid panorama of striking Castle Point is available. This

| | lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Meadowstone is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and Granite Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Oyster Lake. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling near Oyster Lake is Mokelumne River - North Fork, and while you're here, you could also have a look at lovely Silver Lake. stuff to do here at Oyster Lake. The Emigrant Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Oyster Lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sierra at Tahoe. Oyster Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
And if that's not enough there's a lot more amusing things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. On a great day at Oyster Lake you can take a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail, and a glorious nearby hotel is The Meadow. This lake
is so wonderful. Martin Meadow is a good place here at Oyster Lake, and do schedule some time to visit Ferguson Point if you have a chance. You can run the rapids of American River - South Fork close to Oyster Lake; if you came for
an overnight stay Oyster Creek Campground is a glorious site to camp. Through the months of summer at Oyster Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Oyster Lake are in the 10's.
