This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Mokelumne River - North Fork; do schedule some time to stop by Ferguson Point if you have a chance. So many enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. American River - South Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Ferguson Point Campground is a good campground nearby. All the outdoors       enjoyable things near Oyster Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Oyster Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; January is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month is July. Going for a hike along the Emigrant Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you need a spot to stay Pine Cone Acre Motel is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Oyster Lake you can take a hike along the                  Windmiller Trail; the snow is glorious at Kirkwood. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Oyster Lake is great! A day on the slopes of Sierra at Tahoe is just what you need; a charming lake like Granite Lake is a nice spot to stop by. Hiking along the Hawley Grade Trail is perfect fun, and Castle Point is clearly visible from Oyster Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop by Silver Lake in the vicinity of Oyster Lake, and a spree to Martin Meadow revitalizes the soul. Through the summer months highs here at Oyster Lake get into the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Oyster Lake sink into the 10's. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
