Summertime highs at The Oxbow generally tend to be in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to The Oxbow. Camping is available at Rivertown RV Park; Vista Royal Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Duck Island RV Park is a great       place to camp, and Little Medora Lake is a good lake nearby. A quick visit to Georgiana Slough next to The Oxbow is a fine idea. The Oxbow gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is January; August on the other hand is the driest. Lakes?
