Hiking along the Rough and Ready Trail is pleasant fun, and dry warm beds await you at Dunsmuir Inn & Suites. All the water falling down from the sky makes Owl Lake a wet place; most of the rain falls during January; July meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Owl Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Owl Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rim Campground. Lakes?       Sure, Curtis Lake is around here. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Southern Cascade Range. Owl Lake is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Northshore Campground is a splendid spot to camp nearby. Everybody loves Bosworth Meadow, and Owl Lake is right by the Coal Mine Trail. Owl Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range. For the duration of the warm months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Owl Lake, and the night                  is somewhat chillier of course, typically in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Owl Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pit River, and why not check out close by Deadman Creek if you're here at Owl Lake. All year is a tremendous time in the Southern Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors.
