It is very waterless here at Oso Creek Dam generally; the month with most of the rain is January while July is typically the driest month. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Santa Ana Mountains. While you're here at Oso Creek Dam you will meet lots of people from nearby Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana.

You're almost certainly interested in lakes, Lake Mission Viejo is one of those close by; Ayres Hotel & Spa Mission Viejo is a good spot to get some rest. Sutliff Trailer Park is a splendid place for that. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more amusing things to do in the Santa Ana Mountains. Don't leave Oso Creek Dam without first going for a hike along the Joplin Trail, and
Casta Del Sol Golf Course is a brilliant golf course nearby. For the duration of the months of summer at Oso Creek Dam highs are generally in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 60's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Oso Creek Dam tend to be in the 40's.
