The beauty of Ortega Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. West Beach is near Ortega Reservoir and is a scenic beach to explore; there's some out of the ordinary stuff to observe at Ortega Dam near Ortega Reservoir. During the long summer days highs here at Ortega Reservoir reach the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 60's, and night lows in the 30's for Ortega Reservoir.

| | This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Ortega Reservoir is Blue Canyon Campground, and there are splendid sites to explore along the Romero Trail.

day at, Upper Blue Canyon Campground is a great local campground. Ortega Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dry generally; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the
driest.
This lake is so wonderful. It's a great idea to check out Garrapata Creek, it's close to Ortega Reservoir; Inn on Summer Hill is a magnificent site to get some rest. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do next to Ortega
Reservoir. Ortega Hill is a peak you can see from Ortega Reservoir; going for a hike on the San Ysidro Trail is always a good adventure. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Santa Ynez Mountains. Not far from Ortega
Reservoir you hit upon Loon Point; you can go for a hike on the Blue Canyon Trail.
If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. The Santa Ynez Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
On a pretty day you can take a look at East Beach close to Ortega Reservoir, and Channel Islands National Park is a very delightful place to have a look at.
