After a long day outdoors Skylark Shores Resort is a great site to spend a night or two, and on a wonderful day you get a great view of Orr Peak from Ora Lake. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Coast Ranges. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lakeport Lake is near Ora Lake; Rainbow Lodge is a fine place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You're in all       probability interested in lakes, Hidden Lake is one of those nearby, and there's some flowing water close by, Pool Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here. You just must love Ora Lake. Going for a hike on the Bucknell Trail is always a good adventure, and a pleasant location for whitewater paddling is Big Sulphur Creek. Much rainfall falls at Ora Lake; during the month of January you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is July.                  Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. There is a great hiking trail near Ora Lake called the Middle Creek Flat Trail, and you can run the rapids of Russian River. A nice place to explore near Ora Lake is McGregor Canyon, and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, Buzzard Rock is right here. The cheerful people of Clearlake like to hang out close by, and why not camp at U-wanna Camp if you're here at Ora Lake. The Elk Knob Trail is a great hiking trail next to Ora Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Kelly's Kamp is a magnificent place to camp. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Ora Lake. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Ora Lake are in the 30's. You think that's sufficient?
