The beauty of Ora Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Big Sulphur Creek offers some delightful whitewater, and drift down the rapids of Russian River in a kayak. Ora Lake is a great site to camp, Kelly's Kamp is a great site; you'll probably meet some folks from Clearlake here. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do in the Coast Ranges. Don't leave Ora Lake without first checking out Buzzard

| | Rock; the Middle Creek Flat Trail is a great hiking trail close by.
High temperatures at Ora Lake all through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 50's, and night lows at Ora Lake through the wintertime regularly plunge into the 30's. Ora Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly January, that's the one that
rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. If the weather is great here at Ora Lake, you can go for a hike along the Elk Knob Trail, and camping at Ora Lake is good fun, U-wanna Camp is a good local campground. Ora Lake is
located in the Coast Ranges.
This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Pool Creek, and if you need a place to stay Rainbow Lodge is a delightful choice. So many fun things to do here in the Coast Ranges,
too good to be true. Orr Peak is clearly visible from Ora Lake; nearby you discover the Bucknell Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail.
