Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Onion Lake. Why not camp at Aikens Creek Campground while you're here at Onion Lake, and there's whitewater on Klamath River for all you adrenaline people. Places like Laird Meadow are magnificent to take a look at, and close by you come across the Rhododendron Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. A good site to camp here       at Onion Lake is Bluff Creek Campground, and the Summit Valley Trail is a good hiking trail close by. That right there is a load of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. Some nearby water includes Fish Creek, and if you need a place to stay Emerald Forest Of Trinidad is a perfect choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Onion Lake a wet place; through the month of December you get the most rain around here while July                  is regularly the driest month. Onion Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Coast Ranges. Blue Creek Mountain is striking and can be observed from Onion Lake. Summertime at Onion Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Onion Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
