It's a magnificent idea to visit Smith Fork, it's next to Onemile Lake, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Klamath River. Visiting Oregon Caves National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Meteor Lake. So much cool stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains, not sufficient time. On a       glorious day at Onemile Lake you can take a hike along the Garden Gulch Trail; not far from Onemile Lake you'll hit upon Cuddihy Lakes which is a charming lake. Onemile Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is usually the driest month. At Onemile Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings                  highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Onemile Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Onemile Lake called the Salmon Summit Recreation Trail. This site, the Klamath Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Camping at Oak Bottom Campground is always a magnificent experience; at Onemile Lake you can see No Mans Mountain. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains.
