The beauty of Oneida Lake attracts many people from all around. Oneida Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. The John Muir Trail - section 2 is a brilliant hiking trail near Oneida Lake, and Yosemite Gateway Motel is a pleasant site to get some rest. And if that's not enough there's plenty more exciting things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. On a pleasant day at Oneida Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and unsurprisingly

| | South Fork Mill Creek is a charming stream that is worth checking out. Saddlebag Campground is a fine campground nearby, and the skiing at June Mountain is good. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Tenaya Creek is so much fun, and if you've had enough of Oneida Lake, Crystal Lake is close by. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. is just a very short distance away. Oneida Lake is pretty dehydrated typically; January is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month of the year is October. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. Oneida
Lake is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Sawmill Campground is a fine spot to camp nearby, and from Oneida Lake you acquire a delightful panorama of Gilcrest Peak. Interesting geology is available here; Dore Cliff is in
the vicinity of Oneida Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is delightful here at Oneida Lake, you can go for a hike along the Gaylor Lakes Trail; if you're here why not go to Dore Pass. Throughout the summertime months
highs here at Oneida Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 30's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Oneida Lake.
