Not much rain falls here at Oneida Lake; the month with most of the snow is January, and October is the month with the least moisture. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Gilcrest Peak is easy to spot from Oneida Lake; Dore Pass is a delightful location to spend some time. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. A great nearby hotel is Yosemite Gateway Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along

| | the Gaylor Lakes Trail is delightful fun; hey, Gotta ski right? June Mountain is a fine location to do that. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you came to camp Sawmill Campground is a pleasant location to do that, and what would a spot like Oneida Lake be without attention-grabbing close by features like Dore Cliff. proximity to Oneida Lake. There's so much to do here at Oneida Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Saddlebag Campground is a good place for that, and Heidelberg Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest. Why not go to close
by South Fork Mill Creek while you're here at Oneida Lake; unsurprisingly, this is a fine area for people who like lakes, Blue Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Oneida Lake you can take a hike
along the John Muir Trail - section 2, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Crystal Lake is just a very short distance away. Going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 will let you absorb
the natural beauty of this area, and a brilliant location for whitewater paddling is Tenaya Creek. High temperatures at Oneida Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into
the 30's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Oneida Lake.
