  This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12; one of the major highlights of the surroundings of Oneida Lake is Gilcrest Peak. The pretty marina of Grant Lake Marina-campground is a magnificent scene to leave dry land behind; there are other places here than Oneida Lake, for example Gardisky Lake. Mount Scowden is a peak you can observe from Oneida Lake. Take a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2, and
    if you need a location to stay Yosemite Gateway Motel is a great choice.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Dore Cliff is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Oneida Lake, and Dore Pass is positively a wonderful site to stop at.
