Oliver Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Oliver Lake has to offer, you can camp at James Lee Campground, and float down the rapids of Feather River - North Fork in a kayak. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Carter Meadow Trail, and on a wonderful day you obtain a good panorama of Ben Lomond from Oliver Lake. Summertime highs at Oliver Lake typically tend

| | to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 40's; night lows at Oliver Lake during the winter usually drop into the 20's.
Everybody loves Murphy Flat, and Oliver Lake is near Shores Gap which is certainly worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Rose Quartz is a magnificent place to get some rest. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Oliver | |

Lake. The Yellow Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can stay the night at Injun Jim Campground.
Oliver Lake gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that snows
the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Take a hike on the Lassen Trail, and a great
close by hotel is Bailey Creek Cottages. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is peerless! Paddling on Feather River - North Fork is so much fun, and Oliver Lake is not the only place close by, Chips Lake is a close by lake.
