A good close       by hotel is Gaia Anderson Hotel, and Falks Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Olinda Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, JGW Rv Park is a splendid local campground, and a golf course close by is Allen's Golf Course. Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do near Olinda Reservoir. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Cottonwood Creek - North Fork, and if you're here, you could also go to pretty Reese Reservoir. High                  temperatures at Olinda Reservoir during the summertime months are in the 90's; the night is a tad chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Olinda Reservoir during the winter generally descend into the 30's. Olinda Reservoir is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear Creek Sacramento Tributary.
