     Yeah, come here to Olaine Lake for a perfect time. Get covered with water paddling on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mammoth Mountain. For the period of the long summer days at Olaine Lake highs are mostly in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in  
   the 20's to Olaine Lake. All year is a tremendous time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you have a thing about the outdoors. Looking for some flowing water? Try Shadow Creek, and you ought to beyond doubt dedicate some time to Agnew Meadows while you're here at Olaine Lake.
Nearby lakes? Sure, Gladys Lake is in the neighborhood of Olaine Lake, and you can stay the night at Minaret Falls Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Mammoth
 
               Rock Trail is always a great adventure. There's so much to do here at Olaine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Grant Lake Marina-campground is a delightful place for that. This place, Olaine Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors cool stuff.
There are pleasant locations to explore along the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and you can hit the slopes at June Mountain in the vicinity. From a rainfall point of view Olaine Lake is a quite typical place; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Mono Creek in a kayak, and from Olaine Lake you acquire a great sight of San Joaquin Mountain. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too delightful to be true. If you need a place to stay Mammoth Mountain Inn is a great choice, and unsurprisingly, this is a fine region for people who like lakes, Rosalie Lake is a lake around here. After a long day outdoors Heidelberg Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the John Muir Trail - section 2.
