It's always fun to stop by Ocean Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Alamere Creek is a stream you can check out while here, and a splendid location to camp here at Ocean Lake is Olema Ranch Campgrounds. | | wonderful. Wildcat Lake is a delightful lake right next door to Ocean Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Four Points By Sheraton San Rafael is a pleasant choice. Hiking along the Wildcat Trail is great fun; Firtop is clearly visible from Ocean Lake. High temperatures at Ocean Lake during the summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Ocean | |

Lake. Abalone Point is in the neighborhood and always tremendous to explore; Muir Woods National Monument is a tremendous national park. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Mill Valley Inn, and while you're here
here do check out nearby Wildcat Beach. Spend the day on the beach at Kelham Beach since you're here at Ocean Lake, and going for a hike along the Glen Camp Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. So many entertaining
things to do at Ocean Lake, so little time. Ocean Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Glen Campground is a nice local campground; what would a place like Ocean Lake be without out of the ordinary close by features like
Arch Rock. Have a great hiking adventure along the Highland Trail, and a pleasant spot is Cottinham Gulch. The high level of precipitation makes Ocean Lake a relatively wet place; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is typically the driest month.
