     There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a glorious spot to get some rest, and perfect skiing awaits you at June Mountain. Don't miss out on a spree to Yosemite National Park if you're here at Obelisk Lake, and a great view of lovely Mount Clark is available. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Tenaya Creek, and a gorgeous lake like Merced Lake is a great place to check  
   out.
This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is The Ahwahnee, and you can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Badger Pass. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is abundant here in the Central Sierra Nevada. A wonderful site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Obelisk Lake is Merced River - South Fork; there are nice spots to discover along the John Muir Trail - section 1. Obelisk Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada.
 
               You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area near Obelisk Lake has to offer. Stay the night at Tenaya Lake Campground, and splendid hiking is available along the Half Dome Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Obelisk Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. There's some flowing water close by, Grey Peak Fork is a stream you can take a look at while here, and you can go for a hike on the Clouds Rest Trail.
And that's not all you can do here at Obelisk Lake. High temperatures at Obelisk Lake throughout the summertime are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Obelisk Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. There's so much to do here at Obelisk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Pines Campground is a magnificent spot for that, and lakes are such calm places, why not pop by Adair Lake.
