Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go home again. After a long day outdoors Country Inn Sonora is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two; not far from O'Neil Reservoir you'll come across San Diego Reservoir which is a lovely lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are other       sites here than O'Neil Reservoir, for example Matelot Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at O'Neil Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sonora Twin Pines RV Park is a magnificent place for that, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork. If you came to camp Sonora Trailer Lodge is a nice place to do that, and Stanislaus River has a delightful                  whitewater paddling spot close by. So many amusing things in the neighborhood of O'Neil Reservoir, completely extraordinary. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Mountain Springs Golf Club is close by; a fine place like Rawhide Flat here at O'Neil Reservoir is too wonderful to miss. At O'Neil Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. That right there is lots of exciting things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. During the warm days of summer highs here at O'Neil Reservoir get into the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
