High temperatures at Lake Number Five all through the summer months are in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Number Five dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. The Windmiller Trail offers hiking at its best; good hiking is available along the Red Peak Trail. And if that's       not sufficient there's a heap more fun stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you need a place to stay Pine Cone Acre Motel is a glorious choice; whitewater paddling is fine on American River - South Fork. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Lake Number Five. Lake Number Five is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pleasant Boat-In Campground is a great local campground, and Crystal Range is a peak you                  can observe from Lake Number Five. This lake is so wonderful. Granlibakken Lodge and Conference Center is a wonderful place to get some rest; everybody loves Willow Flat. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Homewood is just what you need, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Lawrence Lake. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Lakes are great; Lost Lake is a lake that's close to Lake Number Five, and the summits of the Crystal Range add much beauty to the area. From a rain point of view Lake Number Five is a rather normal place; all through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is July. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Camping at Thirty-nine Mile Campground is always a delightful experience; Silver Creek - South Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by.
