The beauty of North Yolla Bolly Lake is reason enough to stop by. If time allows, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a national park worth stopping at, and Beegum Basin is a charming spot any time of year. Be careful coming to the Klamath Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. staying at North Yolla Bolly Lake you could always discover Stuart Gap, and if you came to camp Beegum Gorge Campground is a perfect spot to do that. During the warm months highs here at North Yolla Bolly Lake get into the 90's. During
the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at North Yolla Bolly Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. That right there
is a heap of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Klamath Mountains has it all. Paddling on Beegum Creek is so much fun. There's so much to do here at North Yolla Bolly Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wells Creek
Campground is a good place for that. Minnie Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and you can go for a hike on the Pettijohn Trail. North Yolla Bolly Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest.
