After a long day outdoors Best Western Golden Key is a fine site to spend a night or two, and paddling on American River - Middle Fork is so much fun. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Looking for something near North Fork Lake? Lake Arthur is in the vicinity, and if you came to camp Auburn Koa Kampground is a pleasant site to do that. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern       Sierra Nevada. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; North Fork Lake has it all. A wonderful close by hotel is Quality Inn Auburn, and an afternoon playing golf at Black Oak Golf Course is always a pleasure. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on American River - North Fork, and a glorious location to go to is Louisiana Bar. The warmest time of the year at North Fork Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures                  drop down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at North Fork Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. You're possibly interested in lakes, Halsey Afterbay is one of those nearby. There's so much to do here at North Fork Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bowman Mobile Home and Park is a delightful place for that. North Fork Lake usually gets a good deal of precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is July. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You need to check out Lime Rock while you're here at North Fork Lake, and it's a magnificent idea to go to Clipper Creek.
