This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at North Emerson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Soup Spring Campground is a great site for that; the Bearcamp Flat Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. Lindemenn Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; Cole Peak is clearly visible from North Emerson Lake. The warmest time of the year at North Emerson Lake arrives                  with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at North Emerson Lake are in the 10's. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Warner Mountains. Do visit South Emerson Lake in close proximity to North Emerson Lake, it's a scenic lake, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Emerson Creek Trail.
