Go to North Basin if you want to go to a nice lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by South Basin; nice hiking is available along the Ben Johnson Trail. Camping is available at Mountain Camp, and hiking is a popular thing to do around North Basin; Temelpa Trail is a good local trail. North Basin commonly gets a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile

Area is recommended. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from North Basin, you'll locate McNab Lake which is a beautiful lake, and dry warm beds await you at San Francisco Central Travelodge. So much fun stuff to do here at North
Basin, too fine to be true. After a long day outdoors Best Western Civic Center Motor Inn is a great location to spend a night or two; you can see Bay View Hill from North Basin. This lake is so wonderful. Time spent at China Beach
near North Basin is always great; you can go for a hike on the Bootjack Trail. At North Basin throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs
down to the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for North Basin. Yeah, come here to North Basin for a brilliant time.

 | I have had the displeasure of staying at a campsite called Coloma Resort on the South Fork of the American River. If you're not a church group or over 65 this place is not for you. We were harassed by the management constantly and were told to go to bed at 10:00pm on a Saturday night. Nothing in their rules said laughing and the Beatles were not allowed. This is the type of place that will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money. The campsite was extremely crowded even the 3rd week of August. My advice is to go else where, anywhere else but here!... |
