A visit to North Basin is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Best Western Civic Center Motor Inn is a splendid choice, and Twin Peaks Reservoir is a great lake nearby. All the outdoors exciting stuff close to North Basin will keep you coming back over and over. All the water falling down from the sky makes North Basin a wet site; most of the rain falls through January; July is the month with the least moisture.

| | at pretty Baker Beach next to North Basin is a great thing to do, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Bootjack Trail, and at North Basin you can catch a sight of Bay View Hill. While you're here at North Basin you can play some golf at Gleneagles International Golf Course; there are other spots here than North Basin, for example McNab Lake.

period of the long summer days here at North Basin, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights
at North Basin are in the 30's. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! North Basin is so good! Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Temelpa Trail, and Mountain Camp is a great local campground. Hiking along the Ben Johnson
Trail is tremendous fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Candlestick RV Park is a delightful site to camp.
A glorious nearby hotel is San Francisco Central Travelodge, and Cow Palace is a great place. Golden Gate National
Recreation Area is a pleasant location in close proximity to North Basin, and on a delightful day you can stop by China Beach.
