Why not stop by Nordheimer Lake if you're passing through these parts. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Weaverville Victorian Inn is a good choice, and there are magnificent places to explore along the Salmon Summit Recreation Trail. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. There's good hiking along the Garden Gulch Trail, and a trip to Nordheimer Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at High Spring. Nordheimer

| | Lake generally gets a good deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is when it's the driest.
This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here at Nordheimer Lake. Don't leave Nordheimer Lake without first going for a hike along the Horse Ridge National Scenic Trail, and after a long day outdoors Tsewenaldin Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two.

Summertime highs at Nordheimer Lake regularly tend to be in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 50's; through the dark hours
in the winter at Nordheimer Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. If you came for an overnight stay Pearch Creek Campground is a great place to camp, and you can run the rapids of Salmon River. Having a magnificent time in the Klamath
Mountains is painless. The peak of Indian Rocks can be seen from Nordheimer Lake, and do explore Red Cap Lake, it's a gorgeous lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Oak Bottom Campground is a great campground here, and a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Salmon River - South Fork.
