by Nicasio Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene spots, why not visit Soulajule Reservoir near Nicasio Reservoir; if you haven’t been to Muir Woods National Monument, you should schedule some time for it since
you're here. One of the governing marks of the surroundings of Nicasio Reservoir is Black Mountain, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Bear Valley Trail. So much entertaining stuff close to Nicasio Reservoir, just
unbelievable. You're sure to encounter some fine people from Santa Rosa-Petaluma here; Upper Campground is a great campground nearby. Olema Ranch Campgrounds is a nice local campground, and Nicasio Reservoir is right by the Greenpicker
Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Nicasio Reservoir a wet spot; January is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
