Sheraton Petaluma Hotel is a glorious spot to get some rest, and hiking along the Greenpicker Trail       is tremendous fun. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Nicasio Reservoir. Soulajule Reservoir is a good lake in the neighborhood of Nicasio Reservoir, and going for a hike along the Bear Valley Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Nicasio Reservoir gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is January, and July on the other hand is the driest. Camping at Upper Campground is always a pleasant experience, and                  time spent at Alan Sieroty Beach is always great. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn Petaluma is a great choice, and if you're looking for a great trip, Muir Woods National Monument is quite near. Be careful coming to Nicasio Reservoir, you might not ever wanna go back home again. On a lovely day you get a sight of Black Mountain from Nicasio Reservoir, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Meadow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene locations, why not stop at Arroyo Sausal Reservoir in the vicinity of Nicasio Reservoir, and during your stay here do have a look at close by Kelham Beach. Summertime highs at Nicasio Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's.
