You can catch a sight of Rafferty Peak from Nelson Lake, and paddling on Yosemite Creek is so much fun. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Don't leave Nelson Lake without first going for a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 1, and The Ahwahnee is a wonderful location to get some rest. There's nice hiking along the Clouds Rest Trail; after a long day outdoors dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a pleasant location to spend a night

| | or two. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Nelson Lake; Gaylor Lakes Trail is a great local trail; whitewater paddling is delightful on Tenaya Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Any time is a perfect time at Nelson Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Nelson Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Tioga Campground is a tremendous local campground, and do go to Reymann Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Nelson | |

Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Nelson Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. All through the months of summer highs
here at Nelson Lake get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Nelson
Lake plunge into the 20's. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is abundant here in the Central Sierra Nevada. There's so much to do here at Nelson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tenaya Lake Campground is a perfect spot for that, and a striking lake like Matthes Lake is a splendid place to stop at.
