A visit to Needle Lake is always a good idea. Needle Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Be careful coming to Needle Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. A day on the slopes of Alpine Meadows is just what you need, and paddling on Yuba River - South Fork is so much fun. Head up to Squaw Valley and strap some skis to your feet, and if you came to camp Onion Creek Campground is a fine place to do that.

| | the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back time and again. Don't leave Needle Lake without first going for a hike along the Granite Chief Trail. There's so much to do here at Needle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Talbot Campground is a good location for that. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a tremendous time. If you need a site to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a tremendous choice. Lakes? Sure, Little Needle Lake is close
by. All through the summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Needle Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Needle Lake.
This
lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Painted Rock Trail; Village at Squaw Valley is a splendid place to get some rest. The high level of rain makes Needle Lake a quite wet place; the month with most of the rain is January, and July is the month with the least moisture.
