All through the warm months here at Needle Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Needle Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. From Needle Lake you obtain a great vista of Granite Chief, and do take a hike on the Five Lakes Creek Trail. Needle       Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you get bored of Needle Lake, you could also visit nearby Mountain Meadow Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Talbot Campground is a tremendous location to camp. Little Needle Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; a wonderful spot for whitewater paddling is Truckee River. This lake is so wonderful.                  Dry warm beds await you at Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn, and some of the water nearby flows, like Chief Creek. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Skiing at Alpine Meadows is one of those things you just have to do, and you can run the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork. If you need a location to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a fine choice. Needle Lake is a relatively wet place generally with lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. Any time is a wonderful time at Needle Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Granite Chief Trail; Onion Creek Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
