The Northern Sierra Nevada rocks! Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Alpine Meadows, and dry warm beds await you at Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. If you need a site to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a good choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Talbot Campground is a glorious spot to camp. Needle Lake mostly gets       a good deal of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Painted Rock Trail is always a glorious adventure, and there are other spots here than Needle Lake, for example Mountain Meadow Lake. At Needle Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs                  are ordinarily in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Needle Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A quick spree to Chief Creek near Needle Lake is a splendid idea. Lakes? Sure, Little Needle Lake is in the vicinity. Paddling on Truckee River is so much fun; don't leave Needle Lake without first going for a hike along the Five Lakes Creek Trail. If you adore the outdoors, you'll like Needle Lake. You can never get enough of the fine skiing at Squaw Valley; you get a glorious view of Granite Chief from here. Yuba River - South Fork has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Onion Creek Campground is a delightful campground nearby. There are good spots to discover along the Granite Chief Trail.
