Camping at Sterling Lake Campground is always a wonderful experience, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Royal Gorge. Lakes are pleasant; Cascade Lakes is a lake that's in the vicinity of Nancy Lake; great skiing awaits you at Soda Springs. Lots of precipitation falls at Nancy Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July.       This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Yuba River - South Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is excellent! Why not take a refreshing hike along the Long Valley Trail, and a fine nearby hotel is Squaw Valley Lodge. This location rules, just explore all the amusing things to do in close proximity to Nancy Lake. You can run the rapids of Fordyce Creek in the neighborhood of                  Nancy Lake, and one of the overriding highlights of the surroundings of Nancy Lake is Devils Peak. Summertime highs at Nancy Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Nancy Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Nancy Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Cold Springs Campground is a great local campground, and do take a hike on the Cherry Point Trail.
