Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. Some close by water includes Blackhawk Creek; Big Flat Campground is a nice local campground. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Muslatt Lake is right by the Paradise Trail, and Camp Marigold Motel and RV Park is a wonderful campground nearby. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Muslatt Lake, too good to       be true. A fine place for whitewater paddling near Muslatt Lake is Hurdygurdy Creek; a beautiful lake like Dry Lake is a great site to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well check out Blackhawk Bar; do take a hike on the French Hill Trail. Goose Creek is a great whitewater spot close to Muslatt Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Summit Valley Trail. Muslatt Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal of rainfall;                  of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Muslatt Lake from Crescent City North, you won't be the only one, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Crescent City. Throughout the summer months, highs frequently are in the 60's at Muslatt Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Muslatt Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges.
