Hiking along the Castle Lake Trail is wonderful fun, and a day on the slopes of Mount Shasta is just what you need. Mumbo Lake is pretty arid mostly; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. If only every place had this much outdoors       amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. West Branch Crow Creek is a great place to visit, and Upper Gumboot Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Everybody loves Mumbo Basin, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Central. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail, and Sacramento River is a great whitewater spot nearby. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Echo Lake Trail, and do visit Upper                  Mumbo Lake, it's a beautiful lake. If you came for an overnight stay Gumboat Campground is a pleasant place to camp. High temperatures at Mumbo Lake all through the summer months are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Mumbo Lake descend into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
