If you are traveling by, why not stop by Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in close proximity to Mud Lake? Deer Lake is nearby, and Packer Lake Saddle is undeniably a perfect site to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. The view of Sierra Buttes from Mud Lake is lovely. of exciting stuff to do near Mud Lake. Some of the water nearby flows, like Church Creek; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - North Fork. Skiing at Royal Gorge
is one of those things you just should do; whitewater paddling is perfect on Lavezzola Creek. Mud Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a magnificent time. Have a pleasant
hiking adventure along the Butcher Ranch Trail, and a nice close by hotel is Chalet View Lodge. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Packsaddle Campground is a great place for that, and
why not take a refreshing hike along the Deer Lake Trail. At Mud Lake during the warm months highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's; after the sun
is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake plunge into the 20's. While you're here at Mud Lake it's a glorious idea to check out Lusk Meadows, and do take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15.
