At Mud Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 50's, and overnight lows at Mud Lake throughout the winter mostly sink into the 30's. Coyote Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a lake close by is Coyote Lake. Not much rain falls here at Mud Lake; most of the rain falls through January       while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of Mud Lake. A fine nearby hotel is Ramada Morgan Hill San Jose. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Arroyo Valle River, and if you came to camp Maple Leaf Park is a good site to do that. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Henry W. Coe State Park is a great place for that, as expected you could also pop by Turnbull Learning                  Academy while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful.
