Go to Mud Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mud Lake. While you're here at Mud Lake you can take a hike along the Lassen Trail, and Mud Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Soldier Meadows Campground is a wonderful local campground. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Mud Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures

| | are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful.

Trail. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If the weather is nice here at Mud Lake, you can go for a hike along the Carter Meadow Trail; get yourself into
a kayak and hit Feather River - North Fork.
If you come at the right time of year, Feather River - North Fork offers some fine whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rose Quartz. Mud Lake is a good location of
normal rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Lassen Volcanic National Park is a national park worth checking out, and you can always
enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Catfish Beach.
Camping at Leisure Trailer Park is always a perfect experience. Lakes? Sure, Rock Lake is around here.
