Throughout the warm days of summer here at Mud Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 40's while Mud Lake overnight low temperatures through       the wintertime are in the 10's. Best Western Rose Quartz Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest, and there are other locations here than Mud Lake, for example Upper Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Three Lakes Campground is a good local campground; Mud Lake is near Pat Maloy Ravine which is beyond doubt worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant close by hotel is Bailey Creek Cottages, and while you're here you can take a hike along the                  Cleghorn Bar Trail. Mud Lake gets a common amount of rain; throughout the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July is when it's the driest. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Dry Lake is a good lake next to Mud Lake, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Yellow Creek Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the neighborhood of Mud Lake. There's some flowing water close by, Lavassi Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Claremont Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada.
