If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Mud Lake. Mud Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Having a magnificent time in the Central Sierra Nevada is simple. Mud Lake is not the only location nearby, Poore Lake is a nearby lake, and Pickel Meadow is a wonderful site any time of year. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Lake; Early Emigrant and Indian Trail is a magnificent

| | local trail. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Leavitt Meadows Campground is a delightful place for that.
Cloudburst Creek is a glorious place to stop at, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Corral Valley Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Sonora Bridge Campground is a good spot to do that; Best Western Topaz Lake Inn is a fine site to get some rest.

the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Silver Falls is a picturesque place to check out while you're at Mud Lake, and a good close by hotel is Super 8 Gardnerville. But
wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. The Lost Canyon Trail offers hiking at its best, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of West Walker River.
During the summertime at Mud Lake
highs are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake fall into
the 20's. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Mud Lake rocks! Looking for something close to Mud Lake? Tule Lake is around here, and you can run the rapids of West Walker River.
