Summertime highs at Mud Lake generally tend to be in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Mud Lake tend to be in the 40's. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll like Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Russian River next to Mud Lake; Mud Lake is nice enough to spend more       than a day at, Willits Koa Kampground is a nice local campground. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Mud Lake; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month of the year is July. There's whitewater on Outlet Creek for all you adrenaline people. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Orr Hot Springs Resort is a glorious place for that.
