If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Mountain. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Lake Mountain, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; night lows at Lake Mountain through the wintertime commonly plunge into the 30's. spot nearby. Take a hike on the Blake Trail, and the summit of Bennett Peak can be distinguished from Lake Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Slide Creek Campground while you're here at Lake Mountain, and a lake
close by is Hidden Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. People from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna love to come to Lake Mountain; Big Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by.
