For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and overnight lows at Mountain Meadow Lake throughout the wintertime usually fall into the 20's. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a nice time. Go for a hike on the Granite Chief Trail, and dry warm beds await       you at Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn. Mountain Meadow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. You'll discover a pretty lake called Shirley Lake near Mountain Meadow Lake, and a delightful site to camp here at Mountain Meadow Lake is Bear Creek Campground. Good hiking is available along the Painted Rock Trail, and paddling on Truckee River is so much fun. Mountain Meadow Lake is a pretty wet place commonly with a large                  amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return home again. There's good hiking along the Big Spring Trail, and skiing at Squaw Valley is one of those things you just should do. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Alpine Meadows, and camping is available at Splitrock Campground. If you need a location to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little tour to Chief Creek while you're here at Mountain Meadow Lake; do stop at Needle Lake, it's a picturesque lake. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
