California has many beautiful lakes and Mossy Pond is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. That right there is loads of cool things already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Shinneyboo Creek Cabin Resort, and Magonigal Summit is a pleasant spot to explore. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return home again. You'll need more

| | than a day to look at everything Mossy Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cold Springs Campground, and going for a hike on the Glacier Lakes Trail is always a brilliant adventure.

time here at Mossy Pond. A day on the slopes of Royal Gorge is just what you need; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - South Fork. Stay the night at Sterling Lake Campground,
and whitewater paddling is great on Fordyce Creek.
You'll stumble on a delightful lake called Derry Lake near Mossy Pond, and there are splendid places to look at along the Lola Montez Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's
some flowing water close by, North Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here, and don't leave Mossy Pond without first going for a hike along the Loch Leven Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hoyfjellet Lodge is a magnificent
place to get some rest, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Soda Springs is reasonably near.
Mossy Pond is a reasonably wet place commonly with a lot of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
