East Meadows Campground - Tahoe National Forest
 | East Meadows has been a favorite since my first trip. The area is full of natural attractions. A favorite is to go sit in the small waterfalls just a short hike from the campsite. Beaware that because of the elevation, the campground does not open Memorial Day like most (although they will let you make reservations during that weekend), it's usually still covered in snow until the middle of June. However, once you get there you will see what a couple extra weeks of snow will bring in beauty to the surroundings.... |

It has a lake near by and penty of bbq pits for the whole camping group whether its 10 of 50! The community campfire and dinnig area makes a great place to catch up with everyone.
