If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Morris Reservoir. So much entertaining stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just unbelievable. If you need a place to stay Holbrooke Hotel is a great choice, and Klensendorf Point is quite close. Morris Reservoir is a wet spot that gets much rain; the month with most of the rain is January; July is when it's the driest. Morris Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada.

| | On a great day at Morris Reservoir you can take a hike along the Halls Ranch Trail. There's so much to do here at Morris Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Hornswaggle Group Campground is a great location for that. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Morris Reservoir. at Morris Reservoir during the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Morris Reservoir.
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If the weather is good here at Morris Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Humbug Trail, and Yuba River - North Fork is a fine whitewater spot close
by. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Yuba River - Middle Fork near Morris Reservoir. A great place to take a look at close to Morris Reservoir is Marys Ravine; you can stay the night at Moonshine Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. If you want to go to some out of the ordinary stuff, go to Granite Point, and why not a little side trip to Clear Creek.
