    If you are in San Bernardino county it's always a good idea to stop by Morongo Lakes. Dry warm beds await you at Miracle Springs Resort & Spa. There are other locations here than Morongo Lakes, for example Bobo Springs Reservoir, and the snow is nice at Snow Summit. Around Morongo Lakes you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
And if that's
 
   not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Morongo Lakes. Wagner Mobile Home and RV Park is a great campground nearby, and Blue Skies Country Club is a nice golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Morongo Lakes is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Palm Drive Trailer Park is a brilliant site to camp nearby, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Hi View Nature Trail. There is a glorious hiking trail near Morongo Lakes called  
               the Kitching Peak Trail, and Hidden Lake is a great lake close by.
If you need a place to stay Desert Hot Springs Spa Hotel is a good choice; going for a hike on the East Branch Millard Canyon Trail is always a good adventure. For the period of the summer months highs here at Morongo Lakes reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Morongo Lakes temperatures fall to the 10's.

(...) the winter and summer temps a little wrong. Spring and Fall are the best time to camp, with warm daytime temps in the 80-90 range and cooler nights, around 60-70. Summer can be hot, daytime temps 100+ in July and August, nights are warm 75-85. Winter is relatively cold, but in 14 years here, there's only been one freeze that damaged plants at all, although we get a couple nights in the low 30s. Clear winter nights are relatively cold, 38-45, cloudy nights are 45-55. Daytime highs in the winter sometimes barely reach 65-70, but it's a dry cold, and feels like 40 would anywhere else....

The community is a wonderful place to relax or have fun with a lot of amenities and activities.  It's very well maintained with rentals and sales available....
This park is a must see.  It's nestled in a cove surrounded by beautiful desert mountains.  Very centally located with rentals and sales available.  Check it out...
I don't consider this a campground.  It's a Park Model/RV park with a lot of fun activities.  The park is well maintained with very friendly neighbors.  I would highly recommend this 55+ community...
