If you want to hit the beach, Moran Lake Beach is close by, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Capitola By-The-Sea Inn & Suites is a brilliant choice. Just can't get enough of Moran Lake. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Arana Marsh is right nearby; The Capitola Inn is a glorious spot to get some rest. you're here at Moran Lake, and paddling on San Lorenzo River is so much fun. Drift down the rapids of San Lorenzo River in a kayak; Black Point is close at hand and always nice to explore.
Lots of folks from Santa Cruz-Watsonville
come to Moran Lake, and camping at Beach RV Park is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. De Laveaga Golf Course & Lodge is a golf course near Moran Lake, and camping is available at Pine Knoll Mobile Manor.
Since
you're here at Moran Lake why not have a look at Arana Gulch; a lake close by is Corcoran Lagoon. At Moran Lake all through the warm months highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the
wintertime come with highs in the 50's while Moran Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's.
