Why not stop by Monteria Lake if you're passing through these parts. Monteria Lake is located in the San Gabriel Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Since you're here at Monteria Lake why not pop by Browns Canyon, and hey, Falls Creek is a wonderful local stream. Throughout the warm months at Monteria Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Monteria Lake throughout the wintertime generally fall into the 30's. Around Monteria Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; February is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll adore Monteria Lake. Enjoy
a round of golf at Knollwood Country Club not far from Monteria Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Oak Spring Trail. Lakes are perfect; Lees Lake is a lake that's right next door to Monteria Lake; Ramada Inn Chatsworth
is a great place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is recommended, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Monteria Lake; Dagger Flat Trail is a pleasant
local trail. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the San Gabriel Mountains. Valley Trails Camp is a fine campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Piru Creek.
