Throughout the summer months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Mono Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Mono Lake temperatures descend to the 0's.       Having a nice time at Mono Lake is painless. Going for a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and June Lake is a perfect lake nearby. On a pretty day you can check out Navy Beach right next door to Mono Lake, and a day on the slopes of June Mountain is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mono Lake has to offer, you can camp at Oh! Ridge Campground; if you need a site                  to stay Yosemite Gateway Motel is a wonderful choice. Heidelberg Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest, and there are other spots here than Mono Lake, for example Grant Lake.
