LAKE ARROWHEAD RESORT is a delightful site to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Miller Canyon Trail. Head up to Snow Valley and strap some skis to your feet, and Mojave River Forks Reservoir is not the only place close by, Grass Valley Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Hesperia Golf & Country Club; the snow is great at Bear Mountain. If you need a site to stay North Bay At Lake Arrowhead

 | Roundtrip Distance 16 miles Elevation Gain 2,645 ft. This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking.
