     LAKE ARROWHEAD RESORT is a delightful site to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Miller Canyon Trail. Head up to Snow Valley and strap some skis to your feet, and Mojave River Forks Reservoir is not the only place close by, Grass Valley Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Hesperia Golf & Country Club; the snow is great at Bear Mountain. If you need a site to stay North Bay At Lake Arrowhead  
   is a brilliant choice, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the McKinley Firebreak.
Around Mojave River Forks Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; February is the wettest month with most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There's some exciting stuff to see at Mojave Dam in the neighborhood of Mojave River Forks Reservoir, and Mojave River Forks Reservoir is right by the

Summertime highs at Mojave River Forks Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Mojave River Forks Reservoir are in the 20's. Looking for something near Mojave River Forks Reservoir? Elevation Gain 2,645 ft.
This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking. For these particular mountains, it is imperative that the hiker carry a compass (and know how to use it) and topographic map....
