If you're popping by Mission Reservoir from San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, you won't be the only one, and you'll come across a delightful lake called Swimming Lagoon. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mission Reservoir. Hidden Valley                  is a great location to stop at near Mission Reservoir; a good close by hotel is Days Inn Fremont. This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Middlefield Reservoir right next door to Mission Reservoir is a good place to take a look at. Summertime highs at Mission Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 70's.
