Go to Mirror Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Wawona Hotel is a tremendous choice; there are brilliant sites to explore along the North Dome Trail. So much fun stuff to do here at Mirror Lake, too glorious to be true. A brilliant location for whitewater paddling near Mirror Lake is Yosemite Creek, and Yosemite National Park is a great site nearby. Don't leave Mirror Lake without first going for a

| | hike along the Panorama Trail; why not camp at Upper Pines Campground while you're here at Mirror Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Mist Trail is always a great adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay North Pines Campground is a great place to camp. in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mirror Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. Mirror Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls through January, and July is when it's the driest.
