Around Mirror Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation;       through January this area sees the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mirror Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Frontier Motel is a great choice. Yeah, come up here to the Southern Sierra Nevada for a magnificent time. Do visit Frog Pond close to Mirror Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and if you came to camp Symmes                  Creek Campground is a brilliant place to do that. Through the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Mirror Lake with night lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 50's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Mirror Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Bighorn Park is right here at Mirror Lake, and Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a good site to get some rest. North Fork Lone Pine Creek is a great local stream, and Mirror Lake is a site with many visitors from Bishop. Going for a hike along the Mount Whitney Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Mirror Lake. Mount Carillon is uncomplicated to spot from Mirror Lake. There's so much to do here at Mirror Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tuttle Creek Campground is a magnificent place for that.
