Get drenched paddling on Merced River - South Fork, and Ahwahnee Hotel is a great location to get some rest. There are other places here than Minnow Lake, for example Johnson Lake; don't leave Minnow Lake without first going for a hike along the Mono Meadow Trail. The peak of Mount Bruce can be distinguished from Minnow Lake, and drift down the rapids of Big Creek in a kayak. Having a good time in the Central Sierra Nevada is easy.       Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not visit Royal Arch Lake in close proximity to Minnow Lake, and Little Sandy Campground is a delightful local campground. Very pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Badger Pass. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Minnow Lake; Chilnualna Fall Trail is a good local trail, and you might also want to pay a visit to Buena Vista Pass since you're                  here at Minnow Lake. Minnow Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Minnow Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. High temperatures at Minnow Lake through the summertime months are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Minnow Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Yeah, come here to Minnow Lake for a great time.
