So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too great to be true. Don't leave Minnow Lake without first going for a hike along the Buena Vista Trail, and dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a wonderful location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Merced River - South Fork offers some fine whitewater. There's so much to do here at Minnow Lake that you need to camp       here for a while, Little Sandy Campground is a great spot for that. A day on the slopes of Badger Pass is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. A picturesque lake like Royal Arch Lake right next door to Minnow Lake is a great place to check out; there are nice spots to discover along the Mono Meadow Trail. At Minnow Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during                  the winter are in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Minnow Lake plunge into the 20's. Man, is there lots of cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Buena Vista Pass is a good site to take a look at nearby, and a wonderful sight of beautiful Mount Bruce is available. Minnow Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Minnow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Fresno Dome Campground, and if you need a location to stay Ahwahnee Hotel is a nice choice. Be careful coming to Minnow Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Yosemite National Park is a very good place to explore right next door to Minnow Lake, and Johnson Lake is a great lake close by. Minnow Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
