| | Cove which is certainly worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Willits is a fine spot to get some rest, and get wet paddling on Beegum Creek. This place, the Klamath Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Going for a hike on the French Trail is always a brilliant adventure; if you came for an overnight stay Hammerhorn Campground is a magnificent spot to camp. Howe Trail; Little Doe Campground is a great campground here. High temperatures at Minnie Lake through the summer are in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period
of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Minnie Lake all through the wintertime mostly plunge into the 30's. So much fun stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains, not enough time. Get yourself into
a kayak and hit Black Butte River. Minnie Lake is a good site of typical precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January while July is regularly the driest month.
