This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. Near Minnie Lake you find the Soldier Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and drift down the rapids of Beegum Creek in a kayak. Lakes? Sure, Elk Lake is nearby; going for a hike on the Smoke Howe Trail is always a great adventure. The       French Trail is a perfect hiking trail close to Minnie Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Black Butte River. This lake is so wonderful. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Minnie Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Willits, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Kingsley Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You get a splendid vista of Hammerhorn Mountain from Minnie Lake; you can stay the                  night at Little Doe Campground. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Minnie Lake get into the 90's with night lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Minnie Lake. Minnie Lake gets a typical amount of rain; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. You simply have to fancy the Klamath Mountains.
