If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Mindego Lake. Mindego Lake is one of the lakes here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. At Mindego Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Mindego Lake.

| | San Lorenzo River; nearby you stumble on the Coyote Ridge Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Santa Cruz Mountains. A spree to Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail is worthwhile. There's so much to do here at Mindego Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wastahi Campground is a brilliant site for that. Nature Trail, and if you came to camp Huckleberry Campground is a great place to do that.
This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Pescadero Creek in the neighborhood of Mindego Lake, and after a long day outdoors
Menlo Park Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Santa Cruz Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Best Western Riviera is a magnificent place to get some rest, and Knuedler
Lake is a delightful lake close by. From Mindego Lake you get a good panorama of Langley Hill, and it's a pleasant idea to go to Mindego Creek.
Going for a hike on the Trappers Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and Rodgers
Gulch is absolutely a magnificent place to visit. Not much rain falls here at Mindego Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest.
