Milton Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Milton Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Wild Plum Campground is a good local campground; nearby you locate the Glacier Lakes Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Milton Reservoir gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is generally the driest month. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Northern Sierra Nevada

| | has to offer. Paddling on Fordyce Creek is so much fun, and you'll find a gorgeous lake called Jackson Meadows Reservoir.
All through the summer months here at Milton Reservoir, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. Crooked Lakes Trail is always a great adventure, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Truckee-Grass Valley for sure. So much enjoyable stuff near Milton Reservoir, just inspiring. A good site to camp here at Milton
Reservoir is Haypress Campground, and the slopes of Royal Gorge are so inviting noone can resist.
Milton Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Soda Springs is a
great place to do that; a great location to check out close by is Bear Valley. Having a tremendous time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is easy. There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Milton Reservoir called the Bowman
Mountain Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Yuba River - North Fork.
A pleasant nearby hotel is Chalet View Lodge; Austin Meadow is a great place to stretch your legs a bit.
