This lake is so wonderful.       In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - North Fork, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Bowman Mountain Trail. Near Milton Reservoir you discover the Crooked Lakes Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and if you came to camp Haypress Campground is a pleasant spot to do that. Here at Milton Reservoir there are plenty of people from Truckee-Grass Valley. During the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Milton Reservoir while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's.
